The attacking midfielder is out of contract with Real Madrid next summer and even though a renewal with the La Liga giants is said to be ‘very close’ Arsenal are apparently still not giving up on the chase just yet.

Still only 19, Gelabert has yet to make a senior appearance for the Madrid first team after coming through their ranks but is said to be wanted by Barcelona, Manchester United, Borussia Dortmund and others in addition to the Gunners, but it is Mikel Arteta’s team who make the headline.
