Todo Fichajes report that Arsenal are considering letting Ainsley Maitland-Niles leave on loan in the upcoming window. As things stand, he’s edging towards a departure from the club, but the market isn’t exactly set up for high-fee transfers right now.

As a result, a loan move might make more sense. TF list Manchester City, Everton and Newcastle as Premier League clubs with an interest in signing the 22-year-old, though it’s not clear whether they mean permanently or on loan in those cases.

If Maitland-Niles is available, he’ll also draw suitors from France, Germany and Italy, according to the claims.

We covered reports from Italy of apparent interest from AC Milan yesterday. Whether you still trust the Italian media writing that every out-of-favour Arsenal player or coach is off to Milan is up to you. The Gazidis connection is certainly multiplying those stories.

A loan move for Maitland-Niles might not be the worst idea. He’s certainly still not too old for one. If he worked hard and started regularly for a season, he might have a future in North London afterwards.
