A recent Arsenal transfer story suggested Evan Ndicka could move to North London this summer. The Gunners are reportedly watching the Eintracht Frankfurt 20-year-old, in their search for a young and promising left-footed centre-back.

As a result of the story, Instagram fan account ‘TeamBukayoSaka’ posted a poll asking which transfer would be best for Arsenal: Ndicka, Layvin Kurzawa of PSG, Houssem Aouar of Lyon or Corentin Tolisso of Bayern Munich.

Funnily enough, Ndicka himself answered the poll, suggesting he would be the best option.

You can see the poll in the below image on the left, with a screenshot of Ndicka’s answer on the right.

If we’re going to be serious about this, it’s very possible Ndicka just didn’t know TeamBukayoSaka would check his answer. He probably just wanted to see the results and clicked on himself to do so.

That’s not as fun, though. It’s much more entertaining to imagine the defender was trying to convince Arsenal to sign him by infiltrating Instagram fan pages to let them know.

Despite his young age, Ndicka made it to 25 appearances this season before the coronavirus shutdown. He can play at centre-back and at left-back, and stands at 6’3″.
