Arsenal are one of the clubs following Eintracht Frankfurt defender Evan Ndicka, ahead of a possible summer move for the 20-year-old.

Sky Sports report that both Liverpool and Arsenal are monitoring Ndicka this season. There’s also a lot of interest from abroad, with Valencia, Sevilla and the two Milan clubs watching closely.

The report suggests Arsenal are in the market for a promising left-footed centre-back, and Ndicka fits the bill.

As we know, they brought in Pablo Mari on loan in January. It’s not certain they’ll make the move permanent, though. Even if they do, having alternative options in the squad would be wise.

Also, Ndicka spent the last few months of football playing at left-back. Given all the injuries in that position at Arsenal, a centre-back summer signing who can also cover on the left could help.

Ndicka is up to 25 appearances for the season, though he missed both fixtures against Arsenal. Obviously, there’s no possibility to scout him at the moment, but the club could use this time to review his old footage ahead of whenever football returns.
