Cedric Soares and Kieran Tierney are very slightly behind schedule, but there’s good news on Sead Kolasinac in the latest Arsenal injury update.

For a while, Arsenal wrote that both Cedric Soares and Kieran Tierney would return from their injury problems to rejoin full training by the end of February. It appears the duo weren’t quite ready on schedule though.

According to the club website, Tierney will return first, with the plan to reintroduce him into full training this week. Cedric will follow next week. At least that’s not too long to wait now, but neither will make it back in time for Portsmouth.

As for Sead Kolasinac, he has a significant strain to his right shoulder joint. The good news is that it isn’t a dislocation and it doesn’t require surgery. As a result, he’s aiming to return to full training by the end of the month.

Calum Chambers is still out long-term, but that’s the extent of the injuries right now.

With the lack of European football from last week’s elimination, there’s a little less urgency to have everyone available. It’s only an issue because the injuries are stacking up in one position.

We’ll have to deal with the total lack of senior left-back options for a little longer.
