Back in August, we covered reports on a leaked Arsenal plan to release a dark red home kit in 2020/21. At the time, we didn’t have any pictures of the design, just the colour.

Now, FootyHeadlines bring us the first look at the new design on the home shirt – as seen above. Though the picture is just an illustration, not a photo of the shirt, you can expect the final product to carry this same design and colour.

This year, Arsenal and Adidas only released their new home shirt in July. The Gunners had a rights deal with Puma until June, of course.

Next season doesn’t have the same restrictions. FootyHeadlines suggest the new shirt could even come out before the end of the 2019/20 campaign.

Back in August, James Benge of Football.London confirmed Adidas had already completed the design for next season. They’ll try to keep it under wraps for as long as possible, but eventually, the leaks will arrive, as they always do.

For now, let’s just enjoy the current trio of shirts while we can. It’s rare to have three shirts most people actually like.
