The Arsenal legend was the fifth person to be voted off the ITV show and admitted that he needs to work on his ‘anger issues’.

The previous contestants voted off include Adele Roberts, Andrew Maxwell, James Haskell, and Cliff Parisi, leaving Roman Kemp, Myles Stephenson, Caitlyn Jenner, Jacqueline Jossa, Nadine Coyle, Kate Garraway and Andy Whyment behind.

Wrighty, as we know, has always been a person who keeps his emotions close to the surface and it seems that didn’t change while he was in the jungle, dividing camp mates and viewers alike.

“I feel it’s time, it’s becoming more and more difficult to focus on being positive,” he told hosts Ant and Dec after his eviction.

“I can’t express enough how incredible the people are that I was in there with.”

They asked him about his anger problems and showed him an emotional montage that featured him punching a wall. “I lose it too quickly, it’s something that I’m working on,” he replied.

“I’d have been worse than that if I suppressed my feelings.”
