Joe Montemurro is up for the Barclay’s Manager of the Month award after bringing Arsenal through November unbeaten, unlike his men’s team counterpart who couldn’t win a game, while two players also get picked for the vote.

Montemurro is up against Nick Cushing of Manchester City, Willie Kirk of Everton and Chelsea boss Emma Hayes for the award, all managers of the league’s top three teams.

He has won it twice previously, once in October last season and then again in March.

In addition, Vivianne Miedema, whose six goals and four assists in one game came at the start of December, is also up for the Player of the Month award where she is joined by Arsenal’s goalkeeper, Manuela Zinsberger.

Miedema netted twice in consecutive league games while Zinsberger pulled off a world class save against Liverpool to ensure Arsenal took all three points.
