As I started this intro, Arsenal women were winning 10-nil against Bristol City and Vivianne Miedema had scored or created every single one of them.

I’m not sure if Joe Montemurro was feeling sorry for Bristol when he took Viv off with 20 minutes left on the clock, but her job was done. A job the likes of which you are unlikely to see from another professional footballer. Ever.

Seriously, name me one professional player who has scored a double-hattrick in a match and backed that up with four assists since the game was invented?

Sylvain will be along with a much more in-depth match report, but, for now, can see all the goals below:

The game finished 11-1 with Emma Mitchell, who replaced the Dutch forward, scoring after Miedema went off and gave everybody else a go.

Speaking after the game, Miedema said, “We played really good football I expected Bristol to do a bit better after the last game but it’s obviously hard for them and instead of just stopping and not play, I thought we played 90 minutes long and we wanted to score more goals and I think that says a lot about the team.

“I don’t think i felt really good today and I was probably happier with the assists than the goals. I felt really good and happy I could help the team today.”
