Real Madrid are reportedly keen on signing William Saliba before he even pulls on an Arsenal shirt.

Saliba enjoyed quite the week, putting in performances that really brought him to the attention of many across Europe. Of course, being an Arsenal player, he immediately got injured, although it’s not as bad as first feared.

According to Defensa Central, Zinedine Zidane wants Saliba for Real Madrid although how he plans to make that happen, I’ve no idea.

I would be hugely skeptical of any reports claiming Arsenal are planning on selling Saliba, regardless of how much any other club wants him.

There is, of course, always the option that another club could offer Arsenal a ridiculous amount for Saliba that could turn the board’s head but that seems unlikely. Possible, but unlikely.
