Unai Emery revealed on Friday that Granit Xhaka will not face Wolves on Saturday.

The Arsenal captain, who issued an apology to fans that was mistranslated and seemed to make things worse, will be ‘rested’ for the game.

“He is training normally with the team,” Emery told reporters.

“He didn’t play at Liverpool (in the Carabao Cup) and above all he has remained focused on tomorrow. It’s not in my mind that he will play. He’s said sorry to everybody. Now the focus is on the Wolves match.”
