Arsenal face Watford this weekend and an anxious wait to learn how badly injured Lucas Torreira is after the midfielder missed out on his country’s second game of the international break.

Granit Xhaka also admitted he was suffering from ongoing Achilles pain, although he suspects it’s not a big deal. Laurent Koscielny might advise differently, were he still at the club.

So, it’s good to have some good news and that’s exactly what Rob Holding’s return to fitness is.

We all remember how much better the Arsenal defence was with him in the side and we can’t wait to see him back in the starting lineup.

Hector Bellerin, Dinos Mavropanos and Kieran Tierney are all slated for a training return later this month.
