Arsenal have signed David Luiz with the defender crossing London just a few months after penning a new deal at Chelsea while declaring, ‘I love this club!’

If you’re wondering why, all of a sudden, David Luiz is now heading to North London, I had a stab at explaining it here.

In the meantime, the two clubs have found an agreement that sees Chelsea sell a key player to Arsenal that their rivals desperately need, all while they are banned from buying a replacement.

I don’t know what this is, but I love it!
About Luiz, Unai Emery said, “David Luiz has huge experience and I look forward to working with him again. He is a well known player and adds to our defensive strength.”
He will wear the number 23 shirt.
Luiz made 6 league appearances for Chelsea last season, scoring three and assisting two. He cost them £31.5m to buy back from PSG after they sold hi for £44.5m two years earlier.
