Arsenal have reportedly offered Alexandre Lacazette a bumper payrise in line with what is being offered to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
On Monday, it was reported that Arsenal are structuring a deal that would see Aubameyang earn the same amount per week as Mesut Ozil through the creative use of bonuses.
Now, the Daily Mail are reporting that they are offering the same sort of deal to Alexandre Lacazette.
While Ozil earns £350kpw as a flat rate, both forwards would be on a bonus structure with an additional payrise to kick-in should Arsenal qualify for the Champions League at the end of the season.
Lacazette currently earns aorund £140kpw while Auba earns around £200kpw.
They would also receive a one-off bonus for reaching Europe’s elite competition, but that is likely to apply across the squad.
At present, Lacazette has three years remaining on his Arsenal deal while Aubameyang has two.
The club are said to be confident that deals can be struck with Auba’s future in doubt if he does not agree. Sanllehi has already stated quite clearly that players in their final two years will be renewed or sold.
