Arsenal have reportedly agreed terms with Daniele Rugani with Sportitalia transfer expert, Alfredo Pedulla, saying Arsenal have the ‘all clear’ from the player to complete the move.

Arsenal are still trying to get him on loan, possibly even over two years which Juventus might now accept if it comes with an obligation to buy at the end of that period.

Juventus are said to be open to Rugani leaving now that Chiellini’s injury is not as bad as first feared.

It is claimed Arsenal have offered Rugani €4m-a-year which works out at around £77kpw.

Arsenal have reportedly also been rebuffed in their attempts to sign Dayot Upamecano. RB Leipzig wanted Emile Smith Rowe on a permanent deal as part of any move for the centreback along with around €60m.

Wolves have also placed an offer on the table for Rugani but it is believed he would favour a move to Arsenal.

Calciomercato write that both clubs will meet today (Wednesday) to find a way to ‘square the circle’.
