According to the Daily Mail, Moise Kean rejected an offer from Arsenal to join the club because the Gunners would not guarantee him a starting spot.

Moise Kean will sign for Everton in a £36m deal after being long-linked with Arsenal. It turns out that Arsenal’s interest in the player was actually real with Unai Emery’s team offering the 19-year-old a contract.

The player, however, wanted a guaranteed starting spot which he was not going to get at Arsenal. So now he’s off to Everton.

Wanting to play is a good quality in a footballer but, with Arsenal signing Nicolas Pepe to add to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette, Gabriel Martinelli, and our youngsters, there was no way they could guarantee a starting spot to the Juventus forward.

Arsenal are apparently offering contracts to most of the Juventus squad, perhaps as revenge for them signing Aaron Ramsey.

We’ve proposed a two-year loan for Daniele Rugani while there have also been reports we’ve offered Sami Khedira a two-year permanent deal.
