According to L’Equipe, Arsenal will meet with Laurent Koscielny, his lawyers and management team for a formal meeting at the end of this week to air grievances with the club considering fining him.

As we all know, Laurent Koscielny refused to travel with the club to the States for their pre-season tour. Despite tweeting in 2017 that he had signed a contract until 2020, the Koscielny PR team want us to believe that he thought he had a gentleman’s agreement to leave for free this summer/this final year was an option that Arsenal exercised without consulting him.
I'm pleased to announce you that i extend my adventure with Arsenal until 2020. #WeAreTheArsenal @Arsenal pic.twitter.com/RCTKqRO7aG

L’Equipe also report that Arsenal, contrary to reports that they are asking £10m+ for him, have not even set a fee for his release.

Whatever happens at the end of the week with the meeting between the parties it’s unlikely we will see Kos playing for us again.
Stranger things have happened but with his heart seemingly set on leaving before his Achilles disintegrates completely, it’s hard to see him remaining at the club.
