Arsenal have been partnered with the South American company since 2016, using Santa Rita wins on matchdays and at stadium events.

Arsenal Commercial Director Peter Silverstone said of the new deal: “We’re delighted to extend our partnership with Santa Rita highlighting the value we place on building strong, long-term partnerships that can evolve.

“Since we began our relationship in 2016, we’ve worked with Santa Rita to build its presence in the UK & Ireland, China and Brazil, amongst other markets, and we look forward to working together to target further markets where Santa Rita can strengthen its position.”

This isn’t Arsenal’s first alcohol-based partnership announcement this week, as the club also confirmed a new deal with Camden Town Brewery on Monday.

It’s good to see Arsenal getting work done on the commercial side of things because the club could certainly do with the money.

The failure to qualify for the Champions League has been costly, particularly now that it’s two years since the Gunners featured in the competition.

New deals with Adidas and Emirates will come into effect this year, so Arsenal should start to see the benefits of those next summer. Any other partnerships are a welcome bonus on top of that though, as there are no guarantees about where Arsenal will end up this year either.
