Arsenal have announced a new partnership with VBET after a number of commercial deals came to an end.

Last week it looked as if Arsenal had ended the relationship with nine sponsors based on the information available on their website. Deals with BetConstruct, BYD, Gatorade, 12Bet, Betfair, SBL, SportPesa, Star, and Tempobet were all removed from the site although Gatorade is now back.

The task at hand is to replace these sponsors that are dropping off. The longer Arsenal spend outside the Champions League, the more difficult you’d imagine it’s going to be to replace old deals with new contracts that are as competitive in the current market.

One deal they’ve managed to secure is with another betting partner, VBET, which will run until 2022.

“Fronted by Arsenal legend and VBET ambassador Ray Parlour, the global betting brand will utilise access to the first-team squad to create a bespoke content series for supporters to enjoy,” a statement on the Arsenal website said.

“VBET will also become the official presenting partner of The Breakdown, which sees former Gunner Adrian Clarke provide supporters with a deeper tactical and statistical analysis of games.

“Licensed around the world, VBET is run and operated by BetConstruct, who are global leaders and innovators in the supply of gaming software.”

Arsenal signed a deal with BetConstruct back in February although it’s not clear why their name has been removed from the list of sponsors.
