Arsenal are reportedly in talks with Meaghan Sargeant who has tweeted her farewells to everyone at Birmingham City.
With Jill Roord and Manuela Zinsberger already confirmed, Leonie Maier expected soon, and Jennifer Beattie looking like she will be rejoining the club she left six years ago, Arsenal seem set to add to their ranks further by bringing Meaghan Sargeant back.
Would just like to say a big thank you to @BCFCwomen for everything they have done for me. To the fans, you have been a great support at every game and will be missed. Also a special thanks to my sponsors @GoodwinTrade and past sponsors @Team_Schroder

The defender is out of contract with the Blues after joining them in 2014.
Sargeant played for Arsenal’s Academy before leaving for Lincoln City when they offered her first team football.
She then found herself at Notts County before moving to Birmingham.
Birmingham released a statement on Tuesday saying that she had opted to take up an offer elsewhere before adding, “Sargeant spent five years at Blues Women.
“The 24-year-old [she’s actually 25 now] made more than 75 appearances during her spell.
“The Sheffield-born defender had plied her trade at Lincoln Ladies before joining Blues after partnering Aoife Mannion at centre-back during
“England Under-19s squad that finished runners-up at the 2013 European Championship in Wales.
“Sargeant made 26 appearances this season, scoring three times, and was nominated for the first-ever PFA Bristol Street Motors Women’s Player of the Month award in September.
“In addition, she helped the backline keep seven clean sheets throughout the campaign as the side conceded just 17 goals.”
Bristol are also said to be interested in signing Sargeant.
