Arsenal will likely be adding at least one winger to their ranks this summer and, as a result, have been linked with a number of players who can play in that position.

The latest name to appear is David Neres whom the Telegraph claim is attracting the attention of Arsenal and Everton while Manchester United and Chelsea are also said to be monitoring the Brazilian.

They then go on to claim that, “Arsenal and Everton have already held talks over the 22-year-old, while a bid from Borussia Dortmund, who are aware of the huge interest in England international Jadon Sancho, was rejected in January by Ajax.”

Neres is under contract until 2022 after signing an extension in September, 20 months after arriving from Sao Paulo for a fee of £10.8m.

This season, he has eight goals and 11 assists in 26 Eredivisie games and a total of 12 goals and 15 assists in 44 games across all competitions. He has seven goals in his last eight club games and is expected to move in the summer.

Arsenal were first linked with a move for the player back in December 2017. At that time, he would have cost the club around £22m.

Now it is believed a bid of around £35m will be needed to get Ajax to sell.
