The bookies have slashed the odds of Arsene Wenger and Cesc Fabregas reuniting at AC Milan under Ivan Gazidis as CEO, as both look to be moving on to a new club.

Wenger has been out of management for the last few months, after calling time on his 22-year spell with Arsenal. Now, he looks to be making a return, and one major bookmaker has cut his odds to join AC Milan, making him a 1/4 favourite.

Similarly, Milan are now favourites to sign Fabregas. It’s not quite as much of a sure thing, at 2/1, and Manchester United aren’t close behind for the Spaniard’s signature at 4/1. Nonetheless, the Italian side are still more likely than anyone else right now.

Fabregas is certainly looking more and more likely to leave Chelsea next year. With his contract expiring in 2019, and zero Premier League starts this season, the 31-year-old will surely move on in one of the next two windows.

It just depends whether the Blues want to cash in, or if they’re happy letting him leave on a free transfer.

As for Wenger, he’s already confirmed that he’s planning a January return, so we don’t have long to wait now until we know his next destination.
