Aaron Ramsey will be worth £17.7m less in January than he was in the summer, according to a report in the Italian media.

Gazzetta Dello Sport got into the spirit of Black Friday last week by looking around Europe for the players whose values have dropped significantly in recent months. One player they picked out was Arsenal midfielder Ramsey, who they claim is now worth just €10m, compared to around €30m in the summer.

The Italian outlet adds in a note that Ramsey’s value will drop to zero in the summer when his contract expires. Clubs in Italy like Inter Milan, Juventus and AC Milan have all been linked to a move for the Welshman in recent months, so it makes sense that the Italian media are taking a keen interest in him.

Unlike Premier League clubs, who have to make Arsenal an offer in January, Serie A sides can speak to Ramsey directly, and agree on terms for him to join them in the summer.

The 27-year-old is still playing a part for Unai Emery’s side, with one goal and four assists this season, but it’s been two months since he last started a Premier League game. It certainly seems that he’s not part of the Spanish head coach’s plans for the future, so a transfer now seems inevitable.
