20-year-old Anthony Goelzer is dreaming of a move to Arsenal and if you don’t know who that is, then you are not alone.

In an interview with La Voix du Nord, Sport Witness picked up the transcript.

The publication asked Goelzer, “if you were an agent, where would you send yourself?” and this is what he said: “Arsenal, it’s my dream, or at least in the Premier League. It’s an incomparable league with loads of huge teams. All the games are tight, there’s no lull in the game with a lot of intensity. It’s great to watch.”

Who is Anthony Goelzer?

Anthony Goelzer currently plays for FC Valenciennes in Ligue 2, Arsene Wenger’s favourite hunting ground.

A left-back by trade, he might have spotted an opening at Arsenal with the injury to Nacho Monreal and the persistent questions over Sead Kolasinac.

There is little information around about the player who would be a surprising addition to the Arsenal squad in the near future. That being said, how many people predicted a 19-year-old would arrive from Lorient and go straight into the first team?

Goelzer was named as Ligue 2 Player of the Month in September, the first award of the season.
