Reiss Nelson is reportedly close to signing a new five-year deal with Arsenal after he entered the last year of his contract, although official news of the deal has been slow in coming.

The 18-year-old has yet to be included in an Unai Emery matchday squad this season. Although there has been no mention of an injury, he was also missing from the u23’s epic 6-5 defeat against Manchester City last weekend yet was pictured in training with the first team during the week.
