Arsenal are set to let David Ospina go this summer, after receiving an enquiry from Mexican side Tigres UANL, according to reports in Italy.

TransferMarketWeb write that Arsenal are set to sign the goalkeeper over to a new club this summer. They add that Tigres have made an enquiry for the player, who has a contract until 2019.

This just adds to similar rumours earlier this month, suggesting Tigres would make a move for the player. The club are worried they’re going to lose current first-choice goalkeeper Nahuel Guzman, and see Ospina’s situation as a good opportunity to make a move.

However, there are also strong rumours linking the Colombian goalkeeper to a transfer to Fenerbahce. Reports in Turkey suggest his representatives have already met with the Super Lig club to negotiate a deal.

Ospina is making a pretty good impression at the World Cup at the moment. He’s only conceded two goals, and kept two clean sheets since the last one went in. Next up, he faces England in the knockout stages, so that would really be an opportunity for the goalkeeper to make a name for himself.

With Bernd Leno arriving, Emi Martinez returning from loan and Matt Macey edging closer to the first team, someone has to make way. At the moment Ospina seems like the most likely candidate, but we’ll see.
