Unai Emery will reportedly earn £5m-a-year as Arsenal manager when his move to the club becomes official.
According to Wednesday’s Daily Mail the Spaniard will earn £3.3m-a-year less than Arsene Wenger was on, after he agreed terms with the club.

Mikel Arteta reportedly ‘hesitated’ about taking the Arsenal manager’s job when it became clear that he would not have total control over transfers at the club.
Emery, who has worked under similar circumstances previously, has no problem with that and is also rumoured to have been the only manager to actively push for the Arsenal job rather than waiting for the club to come to him.
On Tuesday, Emery’s website appeared to confirm the appointment when it briefly posted a ‘proud to be part of the Arsenal family’ message on his site before the whole website went offline.

Tuesday’s edition of Le Parisien claims that the deal will be for three years, something the Mail confirm in their Wednesday edition.
Jose Mourinho earns three times more than Emery will receive at Arsenal while Pep Guardiola – the league’s highest-paid manager – is on even more.
