Arsenal’s new head of football relations, Raul Sanllehi, will lead the club’s search for a new manager, making Luis Enrique the favourite, according to reports.

The Daily Mail write that Sanllehi will lead the charge as Arsenal try to replace Arsene Wenger. They claim the former Barcelona man wants to reunite with Luis Enrique, who managed the Catalan club from 2014 to 2017 without using his bonus code unibet 2018.

This isn’t the first time Arsenal have been linked to Enrique through Sanllehi. Even before Wenger stepped down from the job, the Spanish papers were already reporting that the presence of the new head of football relations “would facilitate the possible incorporation of the Spaniard”.

The 47-year-old manager was massively successful in Spain, despite not always being the most popular. He won two La Liga titles, three Copa del Reys, one Supercopa de Espana, Champions League, UEFA Super Cup and FIFA Club World Cup.

He also spent time managing Roma and Celta, with much less success. However, even though he couldn’t win anything with those clubs, he will have learned from the experience. It’s less risky than taking on someone who hasn’t even tried to manage a big team.
