Italian agent Federico Pastorello claims that Napoli manager Maurizio Sarri could join Arsenal.

Sarri allegedly has a release clause in his Napoli contract which could make signing him a bit easier for any clubs interested.

He’s doing stellar work at Napoli at the moment, and agent Federico Pastorello believes Arsenal are in the discussion about his next club.

“Sarri? Arsenal are mainly being talked about for him,” he told Tuttosport (via Football Italia).

“There’s been less talk about Allegri, but it’s hard to find a better Coach than him for Juve.

“Still, from experience, I’ve learned that in the market, the most concrete negotiations take place in silence…”

Napoli appointed Sarri in June 2015.

The 59-year-old has implemented a very attractive and effective style of football at the club, although silverware has so far alluded him.

That could change this season.

Napoli currently sit top of Serie A with 60 points from 23 games. They’re just a point ahead of title-holders Juventus.

Should Sarri go on to win the title at Napoli, he’ll surely be in high demand in the summer.

Talk about Arsenal’s next manager continues to be prevalent.

It was only last month that another Italian manager, Carlo Ancelotti, was being linked with the club by Corriere dello Sport.

This could be a sign that the club are sounding out potential candidates to replace Arsene Wenger.

While the Frenchman remains in charge, though, talk of a new manager isn’t going to go anywhere.
