Francis Cagigao, was pictured meeting with Alessio Da Cruz’s agent amid rumours that the Gunners want to sign the Novara winger.
In the picture, captured by Italian outlet Di Marzio, Arsenal head of international recruitment Francis Cagigao is sitting down at a table with another man, who they claim to be one of Da Cruz’s agents.

The scout allegedly met with both of the players’ representatives: Giorgio Boateng and Menno Groenveld.
Arsenal have been linked with the 20-year-old since November and, if the picture above means anything, a deal could be on the cards soon.
Obviously, the men could also just be friends having a catch-up…
The Gunners also apparently had a scout in attendance at Novara’s Serie B match against Perugia. The two Italian clubs drew 1-1 and Da Cruz played 45 minutes.

Da Cruz signed for Novara on a free from Jong FC Twente, where he came through the ranks, in July 2017. This season, he’s made 18 Serie B appearances, scored five goals and assisted twice.
The Dutch winger’s contract with the Italian side doesn’t run out until 2020.
However, he’s reportedly attracting loads of attention from the Premier League with Brighton, Southampton and Swansea all linked as well.
It’s always good to add new talent to Arsenal’s youth teams. Therefore, it’ll be exciting to see if this reported deal goes ahead.
