We got amazing feedback from everyone after our Danielle Carter wallpaper last month (even she liked it!) so I decided to do more for our amazing women’s team.

So, here is the next one, featuring the amazing (and soon-to-be-retiring) Alex Scott!

Alex is one of the names I think of right away when I think of women’s football, and I don’t really know that much about it. She is definitely one of the biggest stars in the game.

Alex has spent most of her career at Arsenal. She started with the youth team back in 1992 and she’s still playing here in defence as captain. Sure, she had short spells in Birmingham and the States, but she always came back to North London.

Scott also has – or should I say had – a long international career with the English national team. She made her debut in 2004 and represented England for 13 years, including at the London Olympics 2012, until she decided to retire from international football in September.

With Arsenal, Alex has won six Premier League titles, seven FA Cups and the UEFA Champions League, where she scored the winning goal.

In 2017, Alex Scott received an MBE from the Queen for “outstanding contribution to Women’s Football” for her performances on the pitch but also for her off-pitch efforts, where she works with a number of charities and promotes women’s football.

I really hope you like the wallpaper and I promise to make more.
