Arsenal-target Nabil Fekir is being looked at by Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane, according to reports in France.

SFR Sport via AS claim that Madrid are following the 24-year-old, and Zidane is considering making a move for the player next summer.

Both Fekir and the Real boss have spoken highly of each other in the past, so unless something has changed in the last year or two, they should still be keen on a move.

However, the Lyon star has also spoken of how attractive the Premier League is in a recent interview, and his father said in 2015 that if Fekir leaves Lyon, it would be for Arsenal.

The 24-year-old has started the new season in fantastic form, scoring 12 goals and providing three assists in 15 matches. He’s now Lyon’s captain, and is drawing interest from all over Europe, including North London.

Arsenal fans seem particularly keen on the move, as they showed recently by begging Alexandre Lacazette to convince his former teammate to switch allegiances.

With three years remaining on his current deal with Lyon, Fekir could well decide to stay in France a bit longer. But with Alexis’ apparent impending departure, I wouldn’t expect the Gunners to wait around very long to make a move.
