Arsenal are through to the fifth round of the Carabao Cup after beating Norwich 2-1 at the Emirates.

Thanks to a certain 18-year-old called Eddie Nketiah, the Gunners are through to the next round of the League Cup despite being 1-0 down – and deservedly so – for 86 minutes.

The entire team, even the likes of Jack Wilshere, were dragging their feet and despite Reiss Nelson putting in a decent shift early on, the while starting XI were mostly disjointed and stagnant.

Eddie changed that when he came on in the 85th minute and scored within seconds of being on the pitch.

The teenager then put Arsenal 2-1 up in the fifth minute of extra time.

Here’s how the Gunners did individually.

Eddie Nketiah – 10

I don’t usually rate players who have only played for a few minutes but the lad scored within seconds of coming on the pitch and then again in extra time! He literally single-handedly put Arsenal through to the next round of the League Cup. How could I not?
