Berkay Ozcan’s comments about talking with Arsenal were twisted, according to his agent.

The Stuttgart starlet recently said that he and his agent had held discussions with Arsenal over a potential move.

However, according to Sport1, his agent has claimed that Ozcan’s words were twisted by the Turkish media.

He went on to say that no concrete talks had taken place between his client and Arsenal.

Ozcan had given an interview where he said that Arsenal had been sending scouts to watch him.

However, he felt that a move to Arsenal would be too early for him.

Ozcan, a Turkish youth international born in Germany, made his break-through into the Stuttgart first team during the 2016/17 season, when the club was playing in the German second division.

He made 26 appearances in all competitions for them, scoring three goals and assisting six more.

This season, however, he’s struggled for game time.

With Stuttgart looking to re-establish themselves in the Bundesliga, he’s been limited to just three appearances in all competitions.

Ozcan has 13 caps for the Turkish u19 and has scored five goals. He’s recently won his first caps for the Turkey u21 side.
