Paris Saint-Germain have reportedly offered Alexis Sanchez a £9m signing-on fee if he chooses a January move.

PSG could allegedly be set to hijack Manchester City’s move for Alexis.

The Ligue 1 giants, who splashed out £200m on Neymar this summer, will hand the 28-year-old a £9m ‘advance’ on his signing-on fee in January if he chooses to move to France instead of City, claims Chilean outlet, El Mecurio.

The Chile international reportedly met with PSG’s representatives in the summer and demanded £400k-per-week and Manchester United have allegedly been told that they’ll have to cough up £25m for his sign-on fee, so whichever way you look at it, there will most likely be a lot of money in this move.

After the transfer window shut at the beginning of September, the Daily Star claimed that City, his apparent preferred destination over the summer, had offered him an £8m sign-on fee, so £9m from PSG would make sense from that respect.

Alexis has under a year left on his current deal with Arsenal and currently couldn’t be making it more clear how gutted he is that his £60m to City didn’t work out in August.

Although I dare say he should be taking his frustration out on the club that were so desperate to sign him that they waited until the end of the window to lodge a decent bid…
