Nigel Winterburn is convinced that Arsene Wenger will make at least one more big signing this summer.

While singing new Arsenal striker, Alexandre Lacazette’s praises, Winterburn revealed that he reckons that Wenger hasn’t finished adding to his squad ahead of the new season just yet.

“Whenever I have seen Lacazette play, he is in the mould of Ian Wright – quick and very dangerous in the penalty area. He has the makings of a great signing,” the former full-back told the Mirror.

“It also shows Arsene’s determination to make the squad stronger – and I believe there will be more signings and at least one more big one.”

Arsenal are currently being heavily linked with Monaco winger, Thomas Lemar, after Leicester hiked up Riyad Mahrez’s asking price from £35m to £50m.

In fact, the Gunners are said to be readying a bid of £45m and the 21-year-old is allegedly pushing for the move, particularly as Lacazette is a friend of his.

Arsene Wenger’s interest in Kylian Mbappe is still in the press. However, whether Arsenal can, will or have made their reported bid of £124m remains to be seen.
