The light-hearted remark was caught on camera and of course this means that he’s got his heart set on a move to Liverpool this summer, according to fans.
The 23-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Jurgen Klopp’s side since he’s apparently refusing to sign a new deal with the Gunners. However, Arsene Wenger has made it very clear that the Ox is staying put next season whether he signs a contract extension or not.
The England international had initially, according to reports, agreed a new £100k-per-week deal in north London before suddenly making a complete U-turn many believe was prompted by his agent, Aidy Ward. Now, it’s being said that the Ox has virtually no chance of extending his current deal.
