Former Arsenal defender, Kristopher da Graca, has joined Swedish side IFK Göteborg.

Kristopher da Graca left Arsenal this summer after both he and the club decided not to renew his contract and the teenager has now signed for IFK Göteborg.

After leaving north London, the 19-year-old went on a number of trials, including at Crystal Palace and then Genoa, where he was said to be moving to permanently and even made two appearances. Although this move obviously didn’t happen.

The centre-back then went back home to Sweden and trained with BK Häcken. While he allegedly impressed coaches while there, for whatever reason, once again, a deal never materialised.

Da Graca has been on trial at IFK Göteborg since the beginning of July and has now reportedly joined the Swedish club permanently.

Transfermarkt claim that it’s a two-and-a-half year deal.

Last season, the defender made seven appearances for Arsenal’s u23s in Premier League 2 and six in the UEFA Youth League.
