Alleged transfer guru, Jim White, predicted that three Arsenal players were set to be on the move this week but only one of his predictions came true.
- West Brom hope to make Gibbs one of “three or four” new signings
- Arsenal want £20m for Calum Chambers
- Jim White correctly predicts Woj move
Sky Sports presenter and face of transfer deadline day, Jim White, predicted that Wojciech Szczesny, Calum Chambers and Kieran Gibbs would all be leaving Arsenal this week. However, the only player to move on has been Woj, who signed for Juventus.

Gibbs, White claimed, was set to sign for West Brom, despite interest from Newcastle and Southampton, after he was left at home while the rest of the Arsenal squad departed for their pre-season tour of Australia and China.
Obviously, while West Brom have emerged as favourites, nothing seems to have progressed on that front.
Similarly, Chambers was supposed to sign for Crystal Palace and Arsenal were even said to have rejected a £16m bid. The Gunners are apparently holding out for £20m for the 22-year-old.
So, what happened?
While it does appear that Gibbs and Chambers are on their way out of the club, at least on loan, Arsenal seem to be holding out for the right deal.
