Arsenal fans seem to be getting a little bored with Alexis Sanchez after his latest comments.

After Alexis’s recent comments that he wants Champions League football and that his future is now ‘up to Arsenal’ amid strong rumours that he’s pushing for a move to Manchester City, Gooners are getting a little agitated.

While not all Arsenal fans are annoyed with Alexis himself, the situation, and way in which it’s dragging out despite Arsene Wenger insisting that the Chilean will at least see out the remainder of his deal in north London, is exhausting.

However, some are getting annoyed with how the 28-year-old does seem to be trying to make waves in order to force a move, which is a huge no-no.

“Yooo is anyone else getting a little tired of Alexis diva tantrum??,” said one Reddit user.

To which another replied, “Been tired of it since January.”

Another said, “I think people like you are ignoring the fact that people have had a problem with Alexis’s attitude for a long long time.

“Last season when he was sulking on the pitch, a lot of people called him out on it and the response was ‘Wow, we have one player that has ambitions and you’re hating on him?!’

“Now people are continuing to call out the problems with his attitude and a lot of the response is ‘You’re just saying that cause he’s leaving… Look at how fast you’re turning on him!’

“It’s fine to appreciate Alexis’s performances and also criticise him for his attitude. They’re not mutually exclusive.”

While some can actually understand his position.

“I think we need more people with Alexis’s mentality: very ambitious and very driven, and it has to show on the pitch as well,” one Reddit user said.

“Vieira would fly off the handle, and he was worshipped for it. We need somebody to scream at the officials like he did. Alexis is a lot more quiet. We don’t know what he’s thinking.

“Two seasons ago we thought he wanted out then, and either he or Arsene said that’s it’s a bullshit rumor, and he wanted to stay.

“I can and can’t see why he wouldn’t want to resign. We have consistent CL, but we haven’t progressed through the ro16 in quite awhile. He’ll be 29 this year. He doesn’t have time to help a club grow. He’s at the age where he needs to be at a top performing club, or his trophy cabinet might be a bit empty.”

Unfortunately, after his comments, I don’t the media’s obsession with this story dying any time soon.
