Odds on Jack Wilshere signing for West Ham this summer have been cut.

The odds on Wilshere’s rumoured move to West Ham this summer have been cut as the midfielder runs into the final year of his Arsenal contract with no new deal in sight.

The sudden change usually means that the bookies have been tipped off or caught wind of a rumoured deal.

Of course, a lot of the time, it means nothing.

Wilshere is currently recovering from a hairline fracture to his fibula, which he suffered after a collision with Harry Kane while on loan at Bournemouth last season.

story trackerIt’s being reported that he won’t go on Arsenal’s pre-season tour in Australia and China, and will instead join the rest of the squad when they return.

The fact that he’s not fit has been suggested as a stumbling block over a potential move. However, this hasn’t seemed to deter the Hammers, who are still said to be keen on not only Wilshere but Olivier Giroud.
