Fenerbahce centre-back, Simon Kjaer, is reportedly set to choose a move to AC Milan over Arsenal or Liverpool.
- Milan confident of securing deal for Kjaer
- Centre-back made 43 appearances for Fenerbahce last season
- Liverpool, Arsenal, and Brighton interested
- Has 63 caps for Denmark
Milan are reportedly confident of landing Kjaer this summer after an impressive season with Fenerbahce in which he made 43 appearances and even scored three goals.
While Arsenal, Liverpool and newly promoted Brighton are all said to be interested in the 28-year-old, Sky Italia [via talkSPORT] claim that he’s far more like to be Milan-bound this summer.
The Serie A side are apparently looking to bolster their defence. However, they’ve got to sell someone first, which means the deal is unlikely to go ahead overnight.
The Denmark international, who has been capped 63 times for his country, has two years left on his contract at Fenerbahce after signing from Ligue 1 club Lille in 2015.
Kjaer rose through the FC Midtjylland youth system before signing for Palermo in 2008, moving on to Wolfsburg two years later, enjoying a loan spell at Roma, and then signing for Lille in 2013.
