Arsenal have serious interest in the Kylian Mbappe, but the young forward is uncertain about his future.

According to former Monaco teammate Bernardo Silva, Kylian Mbappe is unsure about whether he’ll stay at Monaco this summer or move clubs.

“Honestly, I think even he does not know if he’s going to stay or go,” Silva said.

“He’s a fantastic player who had an incredible second half of the season. I think he is happy in Monaco, but if he goes to a big club to play, it’s also very good for him.

“He’s very young, and it would be nice to stay a year longer but at his age, he has an incredible maturity. So you never know.”

L’Equipe claimed last night that Arsenal bid £87m for the forward, who scored 26 goals in all competitions last season. This news was followed up by confirmation from James Olley of the Evening Standard who also said the bid was rejected.

Mbappe has been linked with a move to Real Madrid this summer, while just about every top club in Europe are said to be interested.

Monaco’s asking price could be a stumbling block for many of them, though.

Arsenal’s interest is real, as Wenger admitted to visiting the player at his home to convince him to join the club last summer.

However, it’s almost unthinkable that Arsenal would part with so much money for one player, no matter how talented he is.
