Sead Kolasinac looks a great bit of business considering he trumps his competition in the Arsenal squad. And there’s every chance he could be a bargain of the season contender.

Sead Kolasinac has joined Arsenal on a free transfer from Schalke 04 and could become one of the best investments in recent years by manager Arsene Wenger.Kolasinac is a Bosnian international who has come through Schalke’s youth ranks and has managed to record over 100 appearances for the German club.

We reported how his stats are superior to the likes of Monreal and Gibbs at left-back, but he also has the attributes to potentially be a leading left-back in the division next season. The young defender has scored and created eight goals in the Bundesliga, while boasting a tackle or interception every 14 minutes.

Just 23 years of age, Kolasinac looks like a great prospect for Arsenal. He has an experienced defence to provide him the neccessary guidance on the pitch and is sure to be given a good opportunity to grow accustomed to the Premier League. He’s implusive with his challenges at times (39) and wasteful in possession (72% pass completion) but has potential to grow in London.
