Hector Bellerin is allegedly set to hold talks with Arsene Wenger over a move to Barcelona when he returns from the UEFA European Under-21 Championships in Poland.

According to Spanish outlet, Mundo Deportivo, Bellerin is set for ‘crunch talks’ with Wenger when he returns to London from his involvement in the u21 Championships.

The right-back apparently wants to move to his boyhood club, Barcelona, despite signing a new long-term deal with the Gunners at the end of last year, which is supposed to take him up to 2023.

However, he apparently isn’t willing to make a decision either way until he’s finished representing Spain’s u21s.

The 22-year-old recently revealed that his parents, who are his main support system, have had to return to Spain and he’s feeling homesick, which has led to multiple stories that he’s changed his mind about staying in north London and instead wants to go ‘home’.

story trackerArsenal are allegedly asking Barcelona for £44m, seeing as Bellerin is a young, world class, first team player, who the Catalans need considering they never truly replaced Dani Alves when he joined Juventus last year.

As Bellerin says though, don’t believe everything you read.
