Arsenal are reportedly keen on Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder, Hakan Calhanoglu.
- Calhanoglu has £32m release clause with Leverkusen
- Could be allowed to leave for as little as £21m
- Free-kick specialist who had a hand in 11 goals in 15 appearances last season
- Chelsea and Lazio also interested
Hakan Calhanoglu is apparently on Arsenal’s radar after impressing for Leverkusen after signing from Hamburg three years ago, and while the midfielder’s release clause is £32m, TransferMarketWeb claims that the 23-year-old could leave for as little as £21m this summer.
Calhanoglu made just 15 Bundesliga appearances last season after being slapped with a four-month ban from FIFA as punishment for a contract dispute with his boyhood club, Trabzonspor.
Still, even in his limited time on the pitch, he scored six and assisted five.
The midfielder is also known as a free-kick specialist, scoring 10.2% of his efforts, which is something that the Gunners are lacking.
The Turkey international has just two years left on his current deal with Leverkusen.
