Arsenal have increased their offer for Kylian Mbappe to £95m, according to reports.

  • Mbappe reportedly has a £100m price tag
  • Arsenal had a £87m bid rejected last week
  • 18-year-old Mbappe is in high demand after 26 goal season

The Daily Star and Sunday Express claim that Arsenal have increased their bid for Mbappe to £95m.

The reports come days after L’Equipe revealed that Arsenal had bid £87m for the teenager, which was rejected by Monaco.

Monaco are looking for more than £100m for the striker and are believed to have received offers from Real Madrid and Manchester City.

There was some confusion over why Arsenal would bid a lower amount than Real Madrid and Manchester City who reportedly bid well over the asking price, but the Star and Express say that Arsenal have offered more money up front than other clubs.

Signing Mbappe for such a huge amount of money would certainly signal the club’s intent to push for the Premier League title next season.

However, the likelihood of the signing happening is still incredibly low.
