Manchester United are reportedly keeping an eye on Tierney and could even go up against Arsenal, who have supposedly been monitoring the 20-year-old’s situation at Celtic for a while.
According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils sent three scouts to watch the defender during Scotland’s 2-2 draw against England last week.
Arsenal were previously said to have made an offer of £10m for the youngster, who has four years left on his deal at Celtic.
The Scottish Premier League club are apparently holding out for £15m. However, manager Brendan Rodgers is allegedly desperate for him to stay put.
When asked about the links recently, Tierney, who usually plays at left-back, insisted that he doesn’t pay much attention.
“It’s flattering. I don’t bother about it too much,” he told Sky Sports.
“My pals text me but I think it would play more in your head if you weren’t happy at a club.
“I’m really happy at Celtic, which is good.”
Tierney made an impressive 40 appearances for the Hoops last season, scoring twice and assisting 12.
