Arsenal face stiff competition from both AC Milan and Inter Milan for Danish centre back Simon Kjaer according to reports.
- Arsenal, AC Milan and Inter Milan are interested in Kjaer
- Fenerbahce are looking for £13m
According to Turks Voetbal, Arsenal are interested in signing the Danish international to bolster their backline.
However, they face competition from both Milan clubs for his signature.
Fenerbahce reportedly want £13m for Kjaer. The Milan clubs are said to have only bid £8.7m, while Arsenal are believed to be willing to pay £10m.
Kjaer was once a hot prospect while he was at Palermo between 2008 and 2010. He was one of the seemingly hundreds of centre backs that were linked with Arsenal during that period.
Since then, he’s played for Wolfsburg, Roma and Lille without settling anywhere for too long before ending up at Fenerbahce.
He would add plenty of experience to Arsenal’s backline but with several opportunities to sign him over the years and Rob Holding emerging as a great talent, it’d be strange for Arsenal to sign him now.
