Arda Turan’s agent, Ahmet Bulut, is apparently getting rather miffed over all these rumours about his client leaving Barcelona this summer.

Turan has been widely linked with a move to Arsenal after failing to bed in at Barcelona following his move from Atletico Madrid in 2015. In fact, according to Spanish outlet El Desmarque, the 30-year-old has agreed a £26m move to north London.

The forward’s agent, however, claims this isn’t true in the slightest and that the Catalan giants are happy with Turan.

“Arda is not going anywhere. Barcelona’s directors are happy with him,” Bulut told AS.

“We haven’t spoken to any club about a transfer. The stories that have come out in the media that he will be leaving have annoyed Arda.

“And nor has it gone down well with board members at the club – Arda Turan will see out his contract.

“He will stay at Barca until 2020.”

Turan made just 18 La Liga appearances last season, scoring three goals and assisting the same amount. And while he may not be completely happy with his lack of time on the pitch, it’s clear that he doesn’t want to leave.

Apparently, Barcelona’s CEO wants £36m for the Turkey international despite claims that a £26m deal was agreed.
